Hey guys. It’s been a while since I last posted but after a long break & months of planning, I’m getting back into doing what I love which is fashion blogging. Breaks are definitely needed and I felt that I needed a long break to revive & refresh, so that I’m finally prepared to turn up now and be the best I possibly & hopefully can be. Also, I didn’t want to rush this blogpost and do it half-heartedly. I wanted to take my time and do it the best I can, so hope you like it!
Personally, I feel like we were robbed of our summer, because we had hardly any sun and it just felt like a normal day in England (dark & gloomy) Anyone agree with me?
So for my first post back in the game, I wanted to create a look that was weather suitable but didn’t reflect the weather. Therefore instead of wearing dark colours, I went for the total opposite which was pastel colours that compliment each other well. I started my look with a white polo neck, grey skinny jeans, black knee high boots (which is a massive trend at the moment) teamed with a pink, grey & white checkered poncho. Simple yet effective. Defo one of my favourite looks of 2015.
You may be thinking “is the poncho enough to tackle this cold British weather?” But I can gurantee you that it actually does the job and keeps me warm. Does the same job as a duster or boyfriend coat, trust me.
Also can I just say this bag gives me life!!! I’m OBSSESSED with the colour grey at the moment and the moment I laid my eyes on this bag, I just knew I had to get it. You will literally see me with this bag all the time, I bring it with me EVERYWHERE.
Here are the details of my look below:
White polo neck | Primark
Grey skinny jeans | River Island
Black knee high boots | Ego Official
Patterned poncho | River Island
Grey handbag | River Island
